Serious Question: A New DA
I'm trying to convince my husband, a software engineer with years of experience building websites and the like, to make a new DA-like site. There are plenty out there already, but everyone I have seen who comments about these other websites say they are missing something. So I want to know from the people out there, if a website could be made for you to post your art, what would you want from it? Of course, #1 rule would be no AI "art". I would never support it, and my husband certainly wouldn't ever support it. Tempted for the slogan to be "real artists only" lmao is that too on the nose? (Obv any person who makes their own art no matter the media is a real artist, I'm talking about non-generated bullshit). There's a lot of logistical problems we'd need to take care of, like a moderation team (that's actually trustworthy), how to pay people for their time, how to make money to pay people, server space and likely thousands of other things I can't even begin to comprehend... Massive Sale (HQ Equine Designs and MORE)!
Hey everyone! On Sunday July 9th through Monday 10th, a really large rainstorm came through and flooded our finished basement. There was about an inch of water in the deepest places. We had a literal river running through the basement with our very own mini Niagra Falls through the doorway of our utility room. Luckily there was little to no damage (that we can currently see), but if we ever get anything worse, it would be a literal disaster. I'm raising funds so that we can pay for landscaping that could protect our house from flooding.
