Details

Personality: Generally very calm, and good-natured but has a tendency to go off the deep end if provoked. Loves kids, though has no real intention to have any of her own due to losing her siblings. Has a general distaste for males, only because her younger brother proved to be insane and murderous. (Will be added to when RPs are done).

Appearance: Slim in body, Siku is built more for speed than she is for strength. She can be considered very plain in color, completely pearl with no distinguishable markings. Her tail feathers however are highly iridescent, ranging from their normal blue color to the pearl of her fur. The eyelets of her feathers are a darker pearl color with paler internals. Like her feathers, her eyes are a distinct blue and contrast with her pale fur.

History:

25 A.S.- Born the second of two cubs to Tetemeko and Dhoruba. Raised within small pride not associated with the three main prides.

27 A.S.- Witnessed the birth of two siblings, Bahari and Mwamba. Assisted her mother in taking care of the new cubs.

29 A.S.- Word gets out that Prince Kazana, from the Angkora pride, was nearly poisoned by funny mushrooms. Mwamba's interest in herbs starts. Dhoruba is proud that her son is taking a more medicinal route than the treacherous scouting her mate did on a daily basis. Siku however, wants to learn from her father.

31 A.S.- During one of their lessons with herbs, Mwamba becomes more and more interested in the funny mushrooms. Dhoruba relays her uncertainty to Tetemeko but he brushes it off, insisting that it's better to know more than not enough. Siku and her siblings remain oblivious to their brothers obsession.

32 A.S.- Mwamba nearly dies from funny mushrooms. An argument breaks out between Tetemeko and Dhoruba where she desperately tried to get her mate to talk to their son about the mushrooms and the danger in his obsession. Siku notices the tension and decides to keep herself away from her parents for the sake of her sanity. Began taking more patrols to keep out of family arguments.

33 A.S.- Mwamba had gone off to see a shaman from the Angkora pride with the idea that he could find his chances of being bestowed magic from the Great Sky Lion. Failed to get into the territory, but conjured a plan to kill his family because they were weak. Gathered numerous mushrooms and painted himself with mud to appear as if he was gifted by the shaman. Returned to his small pride excitedly, telling the family that the Great Sky Lion had bestowed upon them all magic. Blinded by his love for his son, and his religious sensibilities, Tetemeko ate the mushrooms. Pressured to join in, Dhoruba reluctantly ate the mushrooms as well. Both adults died quickly due to poisoning, but not after Dhoruba choked out a warning for her other children to get out of there. Nchi attacked Mwamba, but the swifter youth was able to turn the tables on his older brother while the two sisters ran. They headed for Bini territory, where they were sure to be safe with the other females, but Mwamba caught up to them. He was bloody and crazed. Bahari told Siku to keep running, because Mwamba was her litter-mate and she would try to talk sense into him. Siku did run, but only so far that she could hide and keep tabs on her siblings. What she saw was Mwamba attacking her, only for Bahari to run off into another direction with Mwamba hysterically laughing after her. Upon reaching Bini territory, slipped down a rather steep incline and careened a hundred feet down into dust and dirt. Covered in scratches, bruises, and a nasty head injury, was found by a patrol and instantly brought to the prides healers for help. From that day, was brought into the pride especially after relaying what had happened.

35 A.S.- Lyra became the new queen of the Bini. Celebrated alongside her sisters-in-arms.
